Request a congratulatory certificate from Fred

As Member of Parliament for Niagara South, Fred is pleased to be able to offer congratulatory certificates to recognize constituents' special milestones such as anniversaries, birthdays and other events of significance. In certain instances, our office can make arrangements for you to receive special certificates from the Prime Minister, the Governor General, and His Majesty King Charles III. 

The Prime Minister sends birthday greetings to Canadian citizens who are 65 years of age and onward at 5-year intervals (70, 75, etc) as well as Canadians who are 100 years of age and onward at yearly intervals (101, 102, etc). The Prime Minister also sends greetings to couples who are celebrating an anniversary of 25 years or more and onward at 5-year intervals (30, 35, etc). The Governor General sends birthday greetings to Canadians who are 90 years of age or older and to couples who are celebrating an anniversary of 50 years or more. If the anniversary or birthday has already taken place, the message from the Governor General may be backdated up to 12 months. His Majesty sends birthday greetings to Canadians who are 100 years of age or older and to couples who are celebrating an anniversary of 60 years or more. If the anniversary or birthday has already taken place, the message from The King may be backdated up to 6 months.
